Varagh — Privacy Policy

Varagh ("the app") is a multiplayer Persian card game (Hokm). This policy describes what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices. Varagh is operated by Mehdi Orangpour ("we", "us").

Information we collect

• Account information: a username, your email address, and a password (stored only as a secure hash). If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier and email (or Apple's private relay email) that Apple shares with us.
• Profile photo: an avatar image, only if you choose to upload one.
• Messages: chat messages you send to friends and at the game table, so they can be delivered and displayed.
• Gameplay data: match history, game statistics, and replays of games you play.
• Approximate region: a country code derived from your IP address when you register, used to show a flag on your profile. You can change or remove it in your profile. We do not collect precise location.
• Push notification token: a device token, only if you allow notifications, so we can deliver game invites and messages.

How we use it

Solely to operate the game: signing you in, matching and playing games, showing profiles and leaderboards, delivering chat and notifications, and keeping the service safe (reports and blocks). We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not show ads and do not share data with advertising networks.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Where your data lives

Data is stored on our servers hosted by Amazon Web Services. Push notifications are delivered through Apple's push service. We do not use third-party analytics services.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account), which removes your personal information from our systems. You can also request deletion by email.

Children

Varagh is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
